Hotel Ikosimo in its original appearance was built in 1885 and was completed in 1936 with the addition of a second floor. The property was inhabited by the family Kolovos and the base floor was used as a storage room for olives and several other agrarian products of the family.
It was renovated by the family with lots of attention and devotion for the history of the house, connecting traditional simplicity of the past with the comfort of today. The renovation lasted for almost 3 years and completed in 2009, which resulted in a characteristic traditional accommodation with the name Ikosimo.
The hotel is named after a dignified family coat of arms - ikosimo - that appeared above the entrance of the original building, which for unknown reasons unfortunately has vanished in track of time.
From 1989 our family runs the well-known tavern Paris in the seaside village Kala Nera.
In a pleasant informal atmospere you can taste the rich dishes and home made local specialties, next to the sea with a beautiful view at the Pagasitic Gulf.
The tavern is open from April until October and welcomes guests every day from 10 o'clock in the morning until late at night...
